Design process
At Designwerk we work systematically with our design processes.
After the client’s first briefing, we prepare a design brief in writing which is cleared with the client before we start the actual design phase. If the task is web-based, the brief will also include a flowchart.
The layout phase is where creativity is set free – innovatively, but professionally. Through many years of experience, we have learned many techniques and we possess a high level of know-how within graphical effects. And our work is always team-based, which provides sound mutual challenges to and support for the tasks during design development. Here, one of our important dogmas comes into play: we keep going over a task again and again until we believe we have the optimal solution before we present it; we’d rather take an extra day than compromise.
The first layout is presented to the client, usually in our design studio. Mounted blackfoams and projector-based presentation are combined. After the first presentation, the design is adjusted until the client is happy with the solution.
We then manage the actual media production project, i.e. printing, web programming or similar. Here, we will typically prepare a production plan for everyone’s information.
